Comments:
Has coloured glass blocks in the floor through to cellar, and a slight nautical theme (port-hole type lights in raised areas and wooden decking), though I'm not sure what the connection is except Preston was once a port..... (closed 1981).
Has outdoor area for barbeques - weather permitting.

Did You Know?
UCLAN was previously Lancashire Polytechnic (until 1992). Prior to that it was Preston Polytechnic (until 1984). Prior to that it was The Harris Institute and Harris College (until 1973), but originally it was created as The Institution for the Diffusion of Knowledge in 1887
The original 'Harris' building is the red brick one to the left of the main university building on Fylde Road.
